Lance Brett Scollen missing – Death: Man missing from Yukon on Monday found dead after going out with his snowmobile.

Lance Brett Scollen, 39-year-old Nanaimo n=man who was reported missing has now been found dead. He was reported missing from Yukon in the early hours of Monday, November 15th, 2021.

Report states that Lance had recently come to the area and went out with his snowmobile late Sunday afternoon. His snowmobile machine was found during the search for him and his body was later found in Whitehorse’s Mount Sima area, a day after he was reported missing.

Lance Brett Scollen death:

Lance has now been confirmed deceased after he went missing on Monday. His body was found on Tuesday, 16th of November 2021.

A news release by the coroner’s office said “It appears that the individual likely succumbed to the elements.” An investigation into the cause and manner of death of the 39-year-old is being investigated by the coroner and RCMP.

Condolences have been offered to the family of Lance who has requested privacy to grieve at this time.
