Officers are currently searching for a woman believed to be in her 20s, after she fell over board
A trip that was meant to be enjoyed has become a source of pain to the family of a woman, believed to be in her 20s. The missing woman reportedly fell overboard on Saturday, morning on a Carnival Cruise Line ship off the coast of Mexico. Since the tragic incident, the U.S. Coast Guard have been combing the water to make sure she is found.
The search team for the missing woman
The USCG Southern California, who are directly involved in the case are working hands in gloves with the USCGC Forrest Rednour, a Sector San Diego MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew, and the Mexican Navy. This team is working with the sole aim of recovering the missing woman, who is believed to have fallen overboard near Ensenada, Mexico.
What are authorities doing to find the missing woman?
All efforts put in so far have been unsuccessful, and the delegates are not giving up. The cruise line said. “Our thoughts are with the guest and her family, and our Care Team is providing support.”
According to Daniel Miranda, a passenger of the Carnival Cruise, search started almost immediately after the tragic incident. “They immediately did their best efforts to get crews out on little boats and rescue, to start a search, “They had crew literally around the deck to look all the way around the ship to be able to see if somebody was out in the water, “They had lights out in the water trying to flash out there, but again it’s pretty dark.” Said Miranda.
We are hoping that the missing woman is recovered though we are certain of only one outcome considering how long she has been missing.
