Minneapolis Shooting – Woman killed, man injured in north Minneapolis shooting

Minneapolis Shooting – Authorities are investigating after a woman was pronounced dead and a man listed in critical condition following an overnight shooting in north Minneapolis.

Officers with the Minneapolis Police Department were alerted by ShotSpotter activation at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Officers responded to the scene near the 4400 block of Bryant Avenue N. A 911 caller stated said he had been shot given the same aforementioned address. Two victims a man and a woman were located with gunshot wounds inside a car in an alley.

The unidentified man was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The second victim, a woman was pronounced dead at the scene. No suspect information was immediately given. Minneapolis homicide investigators are handling the investigation. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased woman.
