Michigan State Police Officer Todd Leveille dies from Covid at 53

Todd Leveille Death – Cause of Death: Michigan State Police officer, Todd Leveille of Port Huron, Michigan passed away on Thursday morning, December 9th, 2021. Sgt Todd Leveille of the Lapeer post died after two weeks hard fight with Covid-19 at McLaren Port Huron Hospital. He was 53 years old.

Char Sweeney issued a statement on Facebook, “It is with great sadness and the heaviest of hearts that I share my “brother from another mother, ” Todd Leveille, passed away this morning after a two week battle with COVID. Todd was family to us, was part of our daily lives, the best friend ever to Dale, and words cannot express our sorrow. The pictures say it all. He will be terribly missed, and our lives won’t be the same. Rest easy, my friend.”

Todd from Saint Ignace, Michigan was very active and was planning his retirement in a couple of months after four years in the DROP program. He loved playing golf. Matt is survived by his 19-year-old daughter Abby.
