Michael Angelis Tributes

We’re so sorry to hear news of the death of @rcstweets alumnus actor Michael Angelis who won hearts in so many defining roles. Our thoughts are with all those who loved him.

Michael Angelis played Chrissie Todd in Boys from the Blackstuff, a drama about the tribulations of out of work tarmac layers.

Still saddened by the death of Michael Angelis. He was a reminder of my early days as an English teacher, when GCSE treated texts as something alive and exciting, not as exhibits in a museum. Boys from the Blackstuff remains a major piece of work.

Ach, just heard about Michael Angelis there. What an actor.
No Surrender one of my favorite films…RIP

A little bit of my childhood died today. He certainly *was* the voice of Thomas, and was by far the best narrator the show ever had. How many hours and hours of entertainment he provided in that soothing dulcet scouse. RIP Michael Angelis.
