Melissa M. Garland Killed in two-vehicle crash on 15th Street Hill

Melissa M. Garland Death Cause Of Death: SANDYCREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – 50-year-old Melissa M. Garland, of Titusville was killed in a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred on the 15th Street Hill (Routes 8 and 62) on Thursday 9th December 2021 at approximately 5:35 a.m.

According to information, Garland was driving a 2010 Subaru Outback heading south on State Route 8 in Sandycreek Township, Venango County when she lost hold of her vehicle and transverse to the lane of a 2019 International tractor-trailer driven by Bradley Gelsomini, 52 of New Castle. Garland was declared dead after she suffered severe injuries.

The driver of the tractor-trailer Bradley Gelsomini was not harmed. State Route 8 stayed sealed for about six hours as an investigation was carried out on the scene and other crews worked to clear the destruction caused by the accident.
