Mckenna Winnie Obituary
It’s with great sadness that we are announcing the death of 23-year-old McKenna Winnie, of Saddle Brook, who had just survived a Brain Tumor with deep faith and abiding humor.
She died tragically yesterday, Tuesday, October 12 from a car accident in South Jersey while heading south at the intersection of Route 77.
“She called me “PC” and had a beautiful heart for loving others and bringing joy. McKenna died tragically yesterday in a car accident. In her Confirmation Faith Statement, she wrote, “Jesus is what everyday life is circled around and nothing else matters compared to Him.” She lived a life of and was seeking a career, of serving others. Girl Scouts, church, causes, caring for family and friends – she was always there. Even when she faced her own health issues, we all sat in her hospital room laughing and telling stories. “This is what it means to be held. How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life, and you survive. This is what it is to be loved, and to know that the promise was – when everything fell, we’d be held (Held by Natalie Grant).” Please hold the Winnie Family in your prayers for comfort and strength”
This death has left tears in the eye of those who knew him. His age and other details concerning his departure are still yet unknown at the moment.
