Matthew Smith Death – Passed Away: Information reaching InsideEko Media has it that Executive Director at ACE -Social & Emotional Learning, Matthew Smith of Birmingham, Alabama has died. Matthew Smith reportedly passed away in a tragic car accident on Monday, December 13th, 2021.

ACE -Social & Emotional Learning mourned the “unexpected passing” of their Executive Director, Matthew Smith on their Facebook page.

“It is with a heavy heart we announce the sudden passing of our Executive Director, Matthew Smith, on Monday, December 13th, 2021 following a tragic car accident. We are shocked and grieved by the loss of our beloved friend and visionary leader. We offer our deepest sympathies to Matthew’s family and friends.
The Board of Directors expects to make further announcements regarding arrangements and mourning our friend. We remain committed to the vision Matthew had for our organization and his life’s work.”

The nature of the accident is not yet clear, and the officials are yet to release statements on the vehicle crash.

The preliminary investigation of the accident, which will look into the victim’s condition prior to the accident, whether or not alcohol, drugs, or speed played a role in the accident, will be released by authorities as soon as possible.

Matthew Smith attended Cahaba High School and The University of Alabama. He previously worked as a Field Instructor at Second Nature Wilderness Family Therapy, a Summer Program Teacher at The Field Academy, and the Executive Director of ACE -Social & Emotional Learning.
