Today marks the day we lost an incredible selfless human being in Matt Runte. A man who served his country, his community, his family and anyone who had a need. 7 years ago he showed my then 10 year old son Benjamin what it meant to be a fireman and it was just a few months ago he spent an hour with now 17 year old Benji on zoom discussing options to consider in the future pursuit of being a fire fighter while on vacation with his family. I can’t count how many times I know of Matt dropping everything to help someone in any way he could. Praying God’s peace for his wonderful wife and daughter with this tragic loss of a husband and father. Ryan Blanck wrote.
Matt Runte’s obituary will be organized by the family.
