Gutted to hear of the passing of Martin Hyman, one of my old Almond Valley Labour comrades and a lovely man. He came to Britain as a WW2 refugee from the Channel Islands and went on to represent England at the Olympics in 1960. Proud to have known him in his later years. RIP
Martin Hyman was my first ‘coach’ and gave me so many lessons not just for running but life. His main ‘coaching’ aim was to give people the tools and opportunity to succeed no matter their circumstances. He will be sadly missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.
