It is with deep sadness that my dear friend Mark V. Rosenker has passed. We were friends from the moment we met over 30 years ago and that friendship lasted until his passing. Mark was a great friend. We had so many fun times traveling the nation and the world in presidential campaigns and in The Bush 43 White House. He was a true patriot – who loved his country and made service the hallmark of his life. He and Heather were a terrific team and the perfect match. May his memory be forever a blessing and a comfort for all who knew him. RIP.

I’m sorry to hear of the passing of Gen. Mark Rosenker of @CBSNews. I interviewed him several times on @WMBS590. He was an excellent interview with a superior intellect. He easily explained any of a variety of transportation topics. Thank you for your service to our country. RIP

So very sad to read of the passing of former NTSB Chairman Mark Rosenker — a veteran and lifelong advocate for transportation safety. We worked together on @Securing_Energy‘s Commission for AV Testing & Safety — he was such a character and leader.

Mark Rosenker was a gentleman and one of the most knowledgeable people I knew. He always had time to help on a transportation story- or to talk skiing! He will be missed.

Sad to hear that Mark Rosenker, transportation authority on planes, trains and automobiles for @CBSNews , who I’ve done numerous interviews with over the years has passed away-brain cancer. He was 73. True pro in the biz. Thanks Mark for always being the best at what you do.

I had the pleasure of working closely with Mark for a few years and we co-authored an op-ed together about AV safety. He was a man of boundless energy and worked hard to promote safer transportation for all. I will miss his vigor and zest for life.

Sad to learn former NTSB Chairman and @CBSNews transportation safety analyst Mark Rosenker has died. I once interviewed him on the phone as he was on a cruise ship. “Michael, they’re feeding us a lot of drinks, so I’m trusting your editing skills.” Smooth sailing, Mark.

Extremely sorry to hear this. Mark Rosenker was the one of the first interviews I ever produced – and he couldn’t have been more patient, professional, knowledgeable and kind, on a tragic story. Over the many years since, I’ve learned that’s just how he was. #RIPMarkRosenker

Very sad news this evening. Mark was a great person and an impressive presence in the world of transportation.
