Mark Cameron dies in Soesdyke-Linden Highway solo-car accident

Mark Cameron Death – Cause of Death : 29-year-old Mark Cameron of Guyhoc Park, Georgetown has died from injuries sustained in a high rate accident that happened on Friday morning, November 26, 2021. That accident that claimed the life of Cameron happened along the Marudi Public Road, Soesdyke/Linden Highway.

According to report, the accident happened around 09:10 a.m. Cameron was driving a motorcar PVV 8399 with three passengers northbound along the western side of the Soesdyke/Linden Highway at a high rate of speed, lost control of the car, entered the parapet, and turned turtle, extricating Cameron out of the car. Cameroon who became unconscious after he was extracted from the car and the three passengers in the car were transported to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre where Cameron succumbed to his fatal injuries.

The three passengers;  38-year-old Quakey Stanford, of lot 133 Guyhoc Park, 25-year-old Calldella Marshal, of lot 5 Stevedore Housing Scheme, and 23-year-old Shemika Richards, of lot 83 Laing Avenue East Ruimveldt remained hospitalized with injuries.

Cameron was the taxi driver that collided with the motorcycle that 38-year-old ex-policeman, Malcolm Ross, and his 20-year-old girlfriend, Jewel Pestran were traveling in at Cummings Lodge on the Railway Embankment in September 2017. Both Ross and Pestano were killed at the scene of the crash.

Mark Cameron’s obituary will be released by his family.
