Marie Chery, 61, and Marie Dorange, 88, both from Miami died in a fatal crash on the southbound lane on Alligator Alley (I-75) in Collier County Wednesday.
27, November around 12:50 p.m, Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash at mile marker 85, just west of SR-29 that ended both Chery and Dorange lives.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, The fatal crash victims were passengers in a 2001 Toyota Sequoia along with a 36-year old driver and an 8-year-old passenger.
FHP says the driver was going westbound along the alley just west of State Road 29, when the vehicle went off the road and rolled over, coming to a final rest in the median of the interstate. Both Chery and Dorange were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
According to FHP, there is a Careless Driving charge pending to the the 36-year old driver of the 2001 Toyota Sequioa that led to the crash.
