Marcus Allen Freeman Death – Cause of Death : 34-year-old Marcus Allen Freeman has been identified as the man that was found dead inside a vehicle at Normandy Apartments in Port Arthur on Friday 21st January 2022. Port Arthur is a city in Jefferson County within the Beaumont–Port Arthur metropolitan area of the U.S. state of Texas. A small, uninhabited portion extends into Orange County. It is 90 mi east of Houston. The largest oil refinery in the United States, the Motiva Refinery, is located in Port Arthur.
According to reports, Police received a call on a report of a man slumped over in the car at Normandy Apartments, upon arrival Freeman was found suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Freeman is the brother of former Port Arthur mayor Derrick Freeman. Police have not yet arrested a suspect in the murder investigation. An investigation is still ongoing.
