Manalapan High School on lockdown following shooting threat

Manalapan High School Shooting – Manalapan High School in 20 Church Ln, Manalapan Township has been placed on code red lockdown following a possible threat to shoot up the school during academic hours of the day.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are responding to the school premises and security checks have been doubled up. The lockdown was placed as a measure to ensure no student is hurt as officials respond, investigate and carry out possible campus searches. The threat message entailed the unknown suspected person claiming to be in possession of a firearm and will shoot up the school during lecture hours.

A message going round states

“YOU DECIDE IF YOU MUST TAKE THE CHANCE TO RISK YOUR LIFE. THINK SMART I HAVE MY PISTOL READY. SAY GOODBYE TOMORROW COULD POSSIBLY BE THE LAST DAY YOU SEE YOUR FAMILY.
