Man,32, charged for Scarborough nightclub deadly shooting

Scarborough Shooting – Authorities in Scarborough say 32-year-old Jonathan Hill has been charged with second-degree murder following a deadly shooting inside a nightclub in Nugget Avenue area of Scarborough last week at the early hours of Monday morning December 13th 2021 that left an adult male dead, and a large manhunt

Officials with the Scarborough Town Police Department responded to the club on a shooting report. Officials arrived to the scene on Nugget Avenue, near McCowan Road and Sheppard Avenue East, at approximately 4:23 a.m. An adult male was located in the business place suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. The unidentified male was transported to the hospital for treatment. He later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Toronto police arrested 32-year-old Jonathan Hill in connection to the shooting death. He is facing charges of second-degree murder, his first appearance before the court has been scheduled for  this morning.

The identify of the deceased victim was not immediately released.
