Man travelling to Missouri from Minnesota, Mitchell Riley missing

Mitchell Riley missing – Authorities seeks information to help find missing and endangered Minnesota man.

MINNESOTA, US State – Mitchell Riley, 81 year-old is missing from Minnesota and the police needs help in finding him. He was reportedly seen last the noon of Wednesday, November 24th 2021 in Minnesota and he was reportedly driving to Missouri in his U-Haul truck. His wife was also reportedly driving behind him.

They were both driving behind each other vehicle and was said to have made stops at an area on Interstate 35 at mile marker 100 at ab out 12am that morning. 15 minutes later, while Riley was driving, he lost his wife and was was driving southbound on I-35 his wife drove back trying to find him but she could not find him.

Riley’s wife reported him missing to the authorities after all her attempts to trace him failed. He was reported missing to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office who immediately carried out search for him.

A Facebook post by Mary Sugden reads “PLEASE SHARE: Mitchell Lee Riley, 81, was traveling to Missouri with his wife in a separate vehicle when he went missing just after midnight on Wednesday.”

The 81 year-old man has now been registered as a missing and endangered person. He reportedly suffers from Alzheimer’s and other medical conditions which requires medication. He is said to be without his medication and might be in urgent need for medical attention.

Report gathered says that he was wearing a green Army baseball hat, tan jacket, blue shirt, blue jeans and black dress shoes and the time he was last seen.

Authorities are now asking the help of the public in finding him. They urge anyone who has information on his whereabouts to please call the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at 515-286-3333, or the nearest law enforcement agency.
