Man shot and injured in Yonge-Dundas Square

Police in Toronto are investigating a shooting that occurred at Yonge-Dundas Square early Sunday morning that left an adult male hospitalized in critical condition.

According to the Toronto Police Department, the incident was reported at about 2:01 a.m. officials responded and located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest at the scene. The unidentified man was transported to an area hospital trauma center after Medics applied first aids at the scene. He is listed in a critical but stable condition.

No possible suspect(s) information was immediately released.
