Man dies in Montgomery auto-pedestrian crash

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – At least one person has lost his life in a fatal auto-pedestrian crash that took place in Montgomery on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, around 5:15 p.m.

The preliminary investigation stated that the pedestrian was walking in the area of Norman Bridge Road and Felder Avenue when he was hit by a vehicle. The pedestrian whose name was not released by the officials pending the notification of next of kin was confirmed dead by one of the Montgomery officials named Capt. Saba Coleman.

The driver of the vehicle was at the scene during the arrival of the Authorities and he did not sustain injuries from the crash.

The accident is still under investigation.
