Man, 26, confirmed dead in North Philadelphia shooting

North Philadelphia Shooting – Police in North Philadelphia is investigating a shooting that happened on Saturday, the shooting left a 26-year-old man hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds, the suspect fled the scene after the deadly shooting incident.

According to Philadelphia Police Department, the shooting occurred on the 3300 block of North American Street at approximately 12:46 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The unidentified man was transported to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at about 1:03 p.m.

No arrests have been made, and no suspect information was immediately released. The identity of the man is not immediately released.


Police are investigating a shooting that left three teens injured Friday in North Philadelphia. It happened at about 6 p.m. on the 1300 block of N. 10th Street. The teens, two brothers and a friend, were eating pizza outside when a car pulled up and opened fire.

A total of 31 shell casings were found at the scene. An elderly couple’s vehicle was also hit by gunfire while sitting inside their car near the scene. Officials say, however, the couple was unhurt. Police say a 15-year-old male was shot twice in the right thigh. A second victim, a 16-year-old male, was shot once in the abdomen and once in the buttocks.

A third victim, a 17-year-old male, was shot once in the left chin and once in the left thigh. All three victims were transported by police to Temple University Hospital and listed in stable condition. There have been no weapons recovered at this time. No arrests have been made.
