Madeline Baharlou-Quivey Death – Obituary: The body of 29-year-old hiker Madeline Baharlou-Quivey has been located deceased in Class 5 terrain on Kit Carson Peak after few days of searching for her.
She just graduated from nursing school and was so excited to do what she loves. And one thing that she loved was her senior pug Max along with her friends and family. She was a touchy-feely person and you better take a hug from her because she was going to give one to you. She was just that kind of soul. She felt connected to the mountains just like her Papa, Alan Baharlou, who took her in her first hike and taught her about hiking and she loved the mountains as much as he did. They were two peas in a pod.

So happy for this page. Maddie was my best friend and adventure partner through and through. I met her almost 10 years ago in college at SIU. Maddie was carrying her signature Carlo Rossi glass jug of sangria around the pool and I thought that she was the coolest person We spent the past 10 years taking countless adventures around Colorado and the west, complaining about Denver traffic, and overeating when the slightest inconvenience struck our pretty easy lives. I was so proud of her for finishing nursing school recently, although I think she would have loved to be a forever student. I’ll truly miss her bubbly personality and blatant honesty. I could go on and on. Love and miss her so much already. She was truly a magical person
Oh Maddie…. At one point in my life I had my heart set on marrying you! We would go every where together and I followed like a lost puppy. You were made of everything sweet and kind and were nothing shy of family. I’m going to miss your sweet soul even though we haven’t spoke in quite sometime. Tonight, if you’ll have me, I will talk until I cannot talk anymore. While I have a glass of bourbon down here you need to go find Papa and catch up with him over Starbucks. He loved you as his own as well. Not a goodbye, just a see you later. Rest Easy Madeline Baharlou-Quivey
I was so lucky to meet Maddie in high school. So many memories of tanning by the pool, girls nights, and she was the best at giving advice. It was impossible to even be in a bad mood around her because she just radiated positivity. The sweetest soul I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She has made an impact on so many lives and I will cherish these memories forever.
