Luis Manuel Luna Death – During the evening hours of Saturday, January 14, a shooting incident took place inside a movie theater in Hazle Township, which is located within Luzerne County. The incident resulted in the death of one individual. According to the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), officers were sent to the Regal Cinema in Hazle Township, which is located at 400 Laurel Mall Drive, at around 8:15 p.m. after receiving a report that shots had been fired there.

It was revealed through the course of the investigation that a man aged 19 years old had been struck by gunfire in the lobby area of the movie theater.  The person who opened fire quickly left the site after the shooting. The Pennsylvania State Police said on January 15 that the victim, identified as Luis Manuel Luna of Hazleton, had passed away as a result of the injuries he had incurred as a result of the event. PSP has stated that although though the shooting happened in a public place where people were put in direct danger, the shooting itself has been considered an isolated occurrence where the victim was targeted by the gunman.

Investigation still ongoing

This is because the shooter was only interested in the victim. At this time, there is no information available to indicate whether or not any suspects have been detained in connection with this event. A homicide investigation has been opened up into this matter at this time. According to statements made by the PSP, the investigation is still being carried out by the Troop N Major Case Team.

According to the authorities, a shooting that occurred Monday night at a movie theater in Pennsylvania resulted in at least one person being killed and another person being injured. According to the West Manchester Township Authorities Department, when police arrived at the Regal Cinemas located in the West Manchester Town Center shopping complex just after 10:15 p.m., they discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were found inside the theater. Both victims were sent to York Hospital after their rescue.

At exactly 10:55 p.m., a coroner who had been alerted about the gunshot verified that at least one person had been pronounced dead as a result of the incident. Andre White Jr., 22, was identified as the victim by Pam Gay, the York County Coroner. White Jr. was from Cumberland County. An autopsy, to determine cause and manner of death, is scheduled for 8 a.m. Thursday in Allentown, Gay said. The other victim managed to survive, but the coroner will not speculate on that individual’s current state of health. At this time, no further information has been provided for the public.
