Linda G. Sterling died in an accident in Vernon Parish

Linda G. Sterling Death – Cause of Death – On the 12th of December 2021, Linda G. Sterling, 75, died in an accident that happened around 7:40 p.m. on Hwy 28 in Vernon Parish, the Louisiana State Police reported. Reports states that Sterling was moving westbound on Highway 8 on a 2021 Chevrolet Equinox. When for unknown reasons, Sterling failed to stop at the stop sign as she approached Highway 28.

Reports states that the vehicle lost control and traveled across both travel lanes, exited the roadway, collided with a ditch embankment and overturned. Police said the victim was not wearing seat belt and sustained fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead. A toxicology sample was obtained and submitted for analysis.

The crash is still under investigation.
