With heavy hearts, caregivers at
honored Lilly Tsosie, a beloved phlebotomist who passed from #COVID19 this week, as she was escorted home today by our EMS crews. Lilly was an extraordinary woman who gave over 30 years of service to our community.

I learned this morning that my former coworker and friend lost her battle with the COVID beast. Great sadness filled my heart as I received the information.

Lilly Tsosie was an amazing human. She taught me to be a phlebotomist and to do things right the first time. She always had a smile to share and an encouraging word to say. She was the girl that they called when a hard stick needed to be performed with ease. Lilly believed in teamwork and I always felt honored when she asked me to assist.
She taught me that the details are ALWAYS important and to NEVER assume ANYTHING.

Good golly…I will miss her!

Rest In Peace my friend, until we meet again.
