Kim Rohr Death – On January 1, 2023, the Sparks Police Department (Sparks PD) made an arrest of a lady on suspicion of causing the death of another woman in Sparks by choking her. According to the Sparks Police Department, patrol officers responded to the area of Glendale Avenue and Rock Boulevard about 4:01 p.m. after receiving a report of a dispute in that location. The victim, identified as Kim Rohr, was found to be unresponsive when the police arrived, and the suspect, Suzanne Ehlers, was found sitting on the victim’s chest and neck area.

Kim Rohr confirmed death

Later that evening, Ehlers was released so that police could conduct a more in-depth investigation into the incident. Kim was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead on January 10 after failing to respond to medical treatment despite being there. After conducting additional research, the investigators came to the conclusion that Ehlers was the principal physical aggressor and had ultimately choked Kim before sitting on her chest for a significant amount of time, which ultimately led to Kim’s death from asphyxiation.

Suspect taken into custody

Ehlers was taken into custody on Thursday afternoon and booked into the Washoe County Jail after being charged with murder. In addition, the Sparks Police Department is looking for a male witness who was at the bus stop before the fight broke out. In order for investigators to undertake an interview regarding the case, they are requesting the assistance of the general public in identify the male. The police have said that he was not involved in the event, but they believe that he may have information that could help police in their investigation.

According to the authorities, a man and a woman were discovered dead inside of a residence in Sparks on Saturday night. Sparks Police Department (Sparks PD) patrol officers responded to a house in the 1300 block of Tyler Way about 6:05 p.m. after getting a report of a family disturbance at that location. They discovered the bodies of an adult male and adult female when they arrived at the scene. The initial inquiry revealed that the incident was either a murder or a suicide, and there is no danger to the general public as a result.
