Kevin Biggins of Duxbury, MA, passed away at 58 after a brief illness

Kevin Biggins death – passed away: Kevin Biggins, 58-year-old, of Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Friday, December 10, 2021. He was an avid runner and recently completed his first Iron Man competition. He was a beloved father and a loving husband.

Born Kevin M. Biggins, in Dorchester to Rose (Healy) and William Biggins. He is married to Barbara (Doran) Biggins. They gave birth to three adorable children: Kyle, Cole, Brianna, and Christian, all of Duxbury. He graduated from Xaverian Brothers High School. He earned a degree in Civil Engineering at Wentworth University in Boston. He was employed with the M.B.T.A. Commuter Rail as a Senior Engineer.

He is survived by his brothers: Stephen Biggins and his wife, Mary-Beth; Will Biggins and his wife Kellie; Brendan Biggins and his wife, Jackie. Survived also by his uncle and aunt, John and Mary Biggins of Quincy. He will be profoundly missed by his loving extended family, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 18 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Parish Church, 690 Tremont Street in Duxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kevin’s honor to The Biggins’ Children’s Education Fund, c/o Rockland Trust Company, 288 Union Street, Rockland MA 02370.
