Kenny Lee, Lee’s Discount Liquor owner passed away in car accident

Kenny Lee Death – Cause of Death : 53-year-old Kenny Lee, the CEO/owner of Lee’s Discount Liquor and son of late Hae Un Lee, the founder of Las Vegas Lee’s Discount Liquor stores has passed away following a fatal car accident that happened on Friday morning, November 19, 2021 in Northern Nevada.

According to report, Lee  was operating a van southbound approximately 10:25 a.m. on U.S. Highway 93 between Ely and West Wendover when he crossed the centerline into the northbound lanes of an oncoming truck. The truck veered in order not to collided with the van, unfortunately both vehicles ended up side-swiping each other.

Lee who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash was thrown out of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. While the truck driver incurred non-life threatening injuries.

A social media announcement made by Lee’s Discount Liquor reads “It is with very heavy hearts that we regretfully announce that Kenny Lee passed away in a vehicle accident yesterday, November 19, 2021.

Kenny was the CEO of Lee’s Discount Liquor, Nevada’s largest liquor retailer with 23 stores in Las Vegas, Reno, Mesquite and West Wendover. He was an active member of the community, who, with his father, founded Lee’s Helping Hand, that over the past 20 years, has contributed millions of dollars to Nevada charities.
Kenny was an avid golfer, passionate Golden Knights fan and most importantly, a loving son, husband and father.

Kenny and his wife, Nami Lee have three children, Nathan, Morgan and Addy. Service information will be released as soon as arrangements are made

Investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing by the Nevada Highway Patrol.
