Kathleen Coyne, Thomas Coyne Death – Cause of Death : 75-year-old Kathleen Coyne, of Hometown and 80-year-old Thomas Coyne, of Oak Lawn, have been pronounced dead following injuries suffered from an auto-pedestrian accident. The crash occurred on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 1 p.m. in a parking lot in a south suburban restaurant near, Illinois Secretary of State’s Office driver’s service facility.

Kathleen and Thomas who are reportedly siblings when struck by a car in the Secretary of State’s office car parking lot. According to reports, the elderly man was driving in the Midlothian Shopping Plaza lot close to the interaction of 144th Street and Pulaski Road, near the Secretary of State building when he reportedly suffered a medical event which caused him to accelerate, slam into several stationed cars, the two elderly pedestrians, and the driver’s service facility.

The pedestrians and the two pedestrians incurred critical injuries and were all transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center where Kathleen and Thomas succumbed to their injuries.

Authorities and firefighters responded to the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
