Juvenile arrested in Rockwall High School shooting threat

Rockwall High School Shooting – A Rockwall High School student has been arrested today after a posting to shoot up school following a viral ‘school shooting day’ that circulated the internet nationwide on Friday.

The unidentified teen may face a felony charge for making a terroristic threat. The Rockwall Police Department was alerted of text messages going viral Thursday of a potential threat to shoot up the school during academic hours, the text includes photos of firearms and airsoft guns.

Police investigated the threats and identified the juvenile male student as responsible for the threats. The suspect was taken into custody at his home. Rockwall ISD.

“We ask that you please talk with your children about the severity and real consequences of engaging in this kind of activity,” would continue to work with police to “monitor all suspicious activity.”

Rockwall ISD said.
