Tributes And Reaction To Judy Spencer
“All of our staff formally send our condolences to the Hartland Volunteer Fire Company of Niagara County regarding the Line of Duty death of their member. Firefighter Judy Spencer, 65, was fatally struck by a vehicle last night while assisting with firefighting operations during a brush/field fire in Barker.
Our thoughts go out to her family, friends, and all else who were affected in this tragic accident.”
“I’ve always had much respect for firefighters/emergency personnel. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jim from Rapids Fire Department. A couple years ago Kenzie was involved and a three-car accident in front of the house where her babysitters car was rear-ended. When I got to the scene Jim was the ambulance driver he calmed me down and reassured me everything is okay it was just safety measures why they were taking her to the hospital. Jim was also the ambulance driver that drove Kenzie to the short ride to Mercy fight when we all lost her. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jim and his family. I personally thank you for your 36 years of Fire Service. My thoughts and prayers also go out to Hartland Firefighter Judy Spencer after the freak accident yesterday while on a call losing her life.”
“We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the members of the Hartland Volunteer Fire Company (Niagara County) as they mourn the loss of Firefighter Judy Spencer who died in the line of duty last night.”
