64-year-old Judith Keating, a Canadian senator, provincial official and attorney for the province of New Brunswick, who also had a career in public service, has died. Judith Keating passed away on July 15, 2021. She was born May 19, 1957 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Keating was appointed to the Senate in January 2020 by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, to be part of the Group of Independent Senators.
She was also the first woman to be Vice Minister of Justice and Attorney General of that province.
Judith Keating’s cause of death has not yet been revealed. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we have anything on the death.
