Johnny Lee Peoples, 67, and his wife Cathy Darlene Peoples, 65, died September 2 at the Novant Health Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina. Smedics decided there was nothing to do, they placed the couple in the same room, side by side, held hands and their eyes never opened again.
The pre-death moments were rebuilt by one of the three children who had the marriage, Shane Peoples, to People magazine.
