I had the great pleasure of meeting John Saxon in person at a Bruce Lee Convention in Birmingham. A great raconteur of Bruce Lee fables. A storied career for a talented actor but of course most famously he starred in the greatest martial arts film ever made and for that he will always be remembered. RIP

Kung Fu movies, Italian gialli, Canadian slashers, multiple Nightmare on Elm Streets, more than one beach-centric horror movie and, uh…Hellmaster. John Saxon was a legitimately great actor but in the world of b-movies, he’s about as legendary as they get. RIP

Actor John Saxon, a versatile actor with a lengthy and prolific career who starred with Bruce Lee in “Enter the Dragon” and appeared in several “Nightmare on Elm Street” movies, has died, according to the Hollywood Reporter. He was 83.

RIP John Saxon

Best known for his roles in Enter the Dragon and A Nightmare on Elm Street. I loved both movies.

August 5, 1935 – July 25, 2020

Honestly broken-hearted over John Saxon dying. I can’t express how much joy every mostly shitty movie he made gave me. He was the gold standard for B-movies to me. If I saw that Saxon was in something I knew that it would surpass ridiculousness and into something like art

We are still working on getting more details about the death, as family statement on the death is yet to be released.
