“So sorry to hear about John Mueller’s passing. To say he was a major influence in my BBQ passion is probably understating it. His food was one of my 1st regular must have’s whenever lunch rolled around. The BEST tray of BBQ I ever had was at his “John Mueller on S. 1st” location. I did chat with him on occasion, but never got close, or yelled at, as many folks are proud of. I just followed his travels as best I could. I am proud to say that our pit trailer on site is believed to be one of his early pits as he was building his reputation. Rest In Peace John.”
