RIP Joe Morgan. From parodying the elbow twitch batting stance to studying his game to growing up hearing his broadcasting. He was always one of my favorites growing up. Baseball has lost so many legends this year.

I didn’t get to see Joe Morgan play, but he’s still one of my favorites. He was the best baseball commentator, who taught me everything I know about the game, with smart and thorough analysis and insights. It surely is a sad day for baseball. Rest in peace, #JoeMorgan.

RIP, Joe Morgan. The teams of my youth were the Miracle Mets, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Big Red Machine. With Tom Seaver, Bob Gibson and Lou Brock passing recently, it would appear that class of MLB is now graduating. Thanks for the memories…

Damn so many baseball greats have past 2 weeks today I found out #joemorgan passed away this is the reason I liked watching baseball ⚾️ on Sunday night on @espn #RIPJoeMorgan

This pair will forever be a piece of my childhood love affair with Wrigley.

Unmatched energy and excitement.
Unforgettable Sunday Nights.

Rest easy, Hall of Famer, Joe Morgan.

Unfortunately was way too young to watch Joe Morgan play, but he and Jon Miller both had an indelible impact on a young kid who watched Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN. RIP to an all-time great.

Aw man. My childhood was Sunday Night Baseball with Joe Morgan and Jon Miller. RIP. RT @BNightengale: More awful news. Hall of Famer Joe Morgan has passed away.

RIP Joe Morgan. Perhaps the smartest baseball player of all time and one of the best. Definitely one of the most complete players ever.

We are still working on getting more details about the death, as a family statement on the death is yet to be released.
