Jimmy Faircloth, ex Perry Mayor dies in Twiggs County motorcycle accident

Jimmy Faircloth death – Cause of Death : Jimmy Faircloth, former Perry Mayor has passed away from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident that happened around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in on Highway 96 in Twiggs County, Georgia.

According to report, Faircloth was riding his motorcycle eastbound on State Route 96, near mile marker 1 when traffic slowed down suddenly. He then applied brakes which resulted in  him losing control of the motorcycle and was ejected.

He sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Medical Center, Atrium Health Navicent in Macon where he succumbed to his injuries.

Faircloth served as Perry Mayor for nine and a half years and resigned in 2019.

Jimmy Faircloth obituary will be released by his family.
