Jim Pace Death – Dead | Racer Jim Pace Obituary – Passed Away

Jim Pace Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Jim Pace.

It is with great sadness, we have to announce the passing of our dear friend Jim Pace. To those who knew him, he was your friend, your brother, mentor and hero all wrapped into one. The consummate professional. Never a bad word, always a smile on his face. Jim took great pride in knowing all of you, and helping each of you achieve your dreams at the track, whether it was a spec Miata day, or an IMSA weekend. His enthusiasm for all things mechanical and all things racing was endless, but his love for humanity, and the people who make racing possible, was special.
Not all videos make the cut. This one had some camera shake at highspeed, but being me has its perks. I consider, as all of HSR does, Jim to be my family. Here is 30 minutues, narrated in beautiful Mississippi fashion, by the Man, the Myth, indeed the Legend, Jim Pace. Flat out, 3am in a 962. Full narration, one more chance to hear his voice. None better.
God Speed my dear friend. We all love you. May you live on. Until we meet again-Craiger

Bart and everyone at Wolf Motorsports is saddened at the news of the passing of Jim Pace. The racing community has suffered a monumental loss. He could drive any car, old or new. His videos are a staple for any race car driver with his soothing voice narration, “fast and smooth, brush the brake, squeeze power”. He always made it look so easy. Thank you Peter Krause for sharing this photo. Godspeed Gentleman Jim

As we head off to sleep tonight on the east coast of the US … news of the passing of a far too young #jimpace is really troubling. The winner ‘96 @Rolex24Hours & all ‘round great guy is very sad. A racing tough guy taken from us by #COVID19 … please take it seriously folks!

No words are sufficient right now but Jim Pace was one of my best racing friends back when we were young and possibilities were endless. He was a great driver and a better person. God Bless and Godspeed my friend

Sad to hear that Jim Pace has passed away. Talked to Jim just a few months ago at Road America after his horrific crash in a Can Am car and he was in great spirits. All around great guy who will be missed!

Shocked to hear that driver Jim Pace has passed away. Jim and I sat together at the Road Race Drivers Club banquet before the Rolex 24 this year. All the nice things you’ll read about him, all true. He was just one of those guys you bonded with. RIP Jim
