Such sad news about Jeremy Wisten the young lad who has taken his own life after his release from Man City, it is only a small % that actually make it at the big clubs they tend to drop down the leagues or go into Non league,or even out of football, their dreams get broken RIP

This is so sad man. We don’t even know if he was dealing with other issues outside of football that might’ve contributed to his depression but he was just a kid and he should never feel like life isn’t worth living let alone dealing with it all alone. RIP Jeremy Wisten

RIP Jeremy Wisten.

This is a big issue that needs a lot of attention to it, a lot of academy players when they released, they go through a lot of mental breakdown and the @FA just needs to do a little bit more when it comes to this issue and I’m speaking from the experience. RIP Jeremy Wisten

This is a tragic waste of a young and talented life. I don’t want to become part of the blame culture that the UK has sadly embraced, but I cannot help but wonder if MCA did everything that they could or should have to make sure he did not feel abandoned? – RIP Jeremy Wisten

RIP Jeremy Wisten. When ppl reduce the commitment of sport to ‘oh it’s just kicking a ball’, it’s as if they don’t consider the hidden thousands of hours of giving it one’s all. And he would have done. He’d have put everything into that. Dreadful news.
