Jean Alesy died in an apartment fire in Delray Beach

Jean Alesy Death – Cause of Death – 60-year-old Jean Alesy, was killed in an apartment fire in Delray Beach on Tuesday night, 30th of November 2021. Firefighters were alerted to 943 S.W. 20th Court around 10 p.m. in response to reports of an apartment on fire. Authorities mentioned that only two people were inside the apartment at the time of the fire. The victim’s family told news outlets that there were four people living in the unit where the fire broke out.

The body of Alesy was located and removed from an apartment by firefighters. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Another resident sustained a foot injury after jumping from the second-floor balcony to escape the fire, police said. The American Red Cross is assisting nearly 30 people displaced by the fire, CBS12 news said.

According to CBS12 News, the Delray Beach Police Department will conduct an investigation into his death, and the state Bureau of Fire, Arson, and Explosives Investigations will investigate the cause of the fire.
