Jared T. Hammerin dies in multi-car accident on SR 9G in Rhinebeck

Jared T. Hammerin Death – Cause of Death : 29-year-old  Jared T. Hammerin, of Hyde Park, has died of injuries suffered from a three-car accident that happened on Saturday afternoon, November 29, 2021. The crash that led to the death of Hammerin occurred at approximately 1 p.m. on State Route 9G in the Northern Dutches town of Rhinebeck, New York.

Preliminary investigation showed that Hammerling was driving a 1997 Honda Civic, northbound, south of Slate Quarry Road when he drifted off the double-yellow lines into the southbound and was struck by a southbound 2018 Subaru Outback. After the initial, collision, the Subaru was struck from behind by a southbound 2019 Honda Ridgeline.

Hammerling sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash after succumbing to the injuries. Meanwhile, the 52-year-old male driver of the Subaru and his 23-year-old female passenger with transported with non-life-threatening injuries to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie for medical attention.

Jared T. Hammerin’s obituary will be released by his family.
