Janet Batykefer of Albion killed in Springfield Township accident

Janet Batykefer Death – Cause of Death – The victim of a two-vehicle crash off Interstate 90 in Springfield Township on Tuesday morning, has been identified as 75-year-old Janet Batykefer of Albion. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Batykefer was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:35 a.m. on Tuesday, 23rd of November 2021. The deadly crash happened at 6:40 a.m. on Route 215 at the Interstate 90 westbound offramp.

News outlets have revealed that a 2009 Nissan Sentra, driven by Batykefer, that was traveling north on Route 215 and struck a 2006 Toyota Highlander which was pulling from the stop sign on the I-90 westbouand off ramp to travel south on Route 215. The driver of the Toyota was taken by a family member to the hospital for treatment of possible injury.

Batykefer’s passenger was uninjured and reports revealed that Batykefer and the passenger were not wearing seatbelts. Police said the driver of the other vehicle was wearing a seatbelt.
