I have just read that Jan des Bouvrie passed away. When I interviewed him, he offered to design the cake of the pies, the ‘Think of Henk Taart’. It became round and white with a single icing on the cake. Rest in peace and maybe even Heaven can look more beautiful.

We lost a striking person. He has provided living with decisive other impulses. It didn’t lay him any wind eggs. However, he also made us look at the rich and dragon with it. He helped with the creation of the program Glamourland. R.I.P.
Sad to hear that we lost the very talented Dutch architect & interior designer: Jan des Bouvrie. Well known as the “Master of the White Interiors” and for his design of the 1969 “kubusbank sofa”, now considered a design classical. He won many awards, published numerous interior design books, presented TV Woonmagazine, ran his design firm The Arsenaal in Naarden with his wife Monique, was a lecturer, and the Jan Des Bouvrie Academy is named after him #jandesbouvrie
We are still working on getting more details about the death, as a family statement on the death is yet to be released.
