James Malgieri Obituary – Death “One of our mentors James Malgieri who believed in our vision and invested in our FinTech idea from the very beginning, sadly passed away earlier today.”
On Tuesday, October 5, 2021, James (Jim) Malgieri, a mutual Seton Hall University alum, died unexpectedly. He was 61 years old.
At the time of this publication, the circumstances surrounding his death were unknown.
Jim had a great 34-year career in finance, most recently as the head of BNY Mellon’s Global Collateral Management & Segregation business, which served over 200 financial institutions.
He was on the boards of The Federal Reserve Bank, DTCC, BNY Mellon Clearing International, Pirum, and a number of other organizations, including Saphyre.
