James Dumas Missing: Mattie’s Call has been issued for missing Macon man

Authorities are growing increasingly worried for the welfare of a missing man who was reported missing to the police by his loved ones, and they are asking the public to help look out for the missing man.  The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is carrying out a search to find the missing 78-year-old James Dumas.

According to a news release, the 78-year-old man went to his dialysis appointment and was dropped off at his home in the 1900-block of Sheridan Avenue on Thursday, December 9.

This incident is very worrisome to the family as they said it is not in his character to leave the house without contacting anyone.

The family said they went to his home the following day but he was not there. His family says he has medical issues that require treatment and medication.

Dumas is around 6’ tall and weighs around 165 pounds. He was possibly wearing a blue LA hat, a camouflage or black jacket, jeans, and black sneakers.
