Jake Rogers Death – Baltimore shooting victim Identified, suspect wanted

Jake Rogers Death: 34-year -old Jake Rogers, a Department of Public Works employee has been identified as the man fatally shot Thursday morning in Northeast Baltimore. Police are asking for public assistance in finding a person of interest.

Authorities say 34-year-old Jake Rogers was found shot at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the yard of a home on Holder Avenue. He was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later on. The image of a person of interest in the shooting wearing all black, who was reportedly last seen running north on Holder Avenue was released Friday.

Police confirmed Rogers was an employee of the Baltimore City Department of Public Works. Homicide detectives are investigating Rogers’ shooting as a murder. No details about a possible motive have been released.
