Jake Rogers a DPW employee was killed in northeast Baltimore

Jake Rogers Death – Cause of Death – The DPW employee gunned down in front of his children in northeast Baltimore, has been identified as 34-year-old Jake Rogers. A release by the Baltimore Police reported that the deadly shooting happened on the 9th of December 2021 on Holder Avenue. Rogers was an employee of Baltimore city’s Department of Public Works since February 2020.

Rogers specifically worked in the Bureau of Solid Waste in Marine Operations. According to Fox45 news, there is a surveillance video from a neighbor’s dash camera that shows a man running across the street, apparently shooting Rogers, then running off. No suspect information has been released by the Baltimore Police Department.

The Baltimore Police Department has not yet released a motive in the killing.
