Jacqueline Sheffield of Northeast El Paso dies in El Paso, TX car accident

Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Yvette Sheffield Death – Cause of Death : Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Yvette Sheffield, 54, of Northeast El Paso has been identified by the El Paso Police as the woman that passed away following injuries sustained from a two-car accident. The two-car collision happened on Saturday night, December 11, 2021, at approximately 7:35 p.m. on U.S.54 North near the Cassidy exit in El Paso, Texas.

Preliminary investigation showed that Sheffield was a passenger in a stopped 1996 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck that was driven by 57-year-old Charles Edward Bullard, also of  Northeast El Paso when a 2017 passenger bus driven by Guadalupe Alonso Maciel, of Juarez, rear-ended the truck.

Sheffield suffered serious injures injuries from the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene, while Bullard was transported in critical but stable condition to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Maciel was allegedly looking at his cell phone and failed to see the stopped truck with hazard lights in the second lane of traffic. He has since been charged with Manslaughter and Aggravated Assault in conjunction with the crash.

Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Yvette Sheffield’s obituary will be released by her family.
