J.J. Malone and Caylee Brown killed, one arrested in Bakersfield DUI crash

At least two persons have lost their lives in a fatal DUI crash that took place on Wednesday, December 8, in Bakersfield. Authorities identified the siblings that lost lives when they were coming back from school as 19-year-old J.J. Malone and his 10-year-old sister, Caylee Brown.

According to the initial investigation, a vehicle driven by a 46-year-old Lisa Core was traveling on Panama Lane when the vehicle veered off and hit Malone and his little sister. It was revealed that Malone had gone to pick his sister from school when the accident claimed their lives. Core was arrested and charged with two counts of murder, a DUI, driving with a suspended license from a DUI conviction.

A GoFundMe account has been opened for the family of the deceased children to enable their family raise funds for their funerals and other necessary things they need.

The accident is still under investigation.
