A man has been confirmed dead by the Grand Island Police on Wednesday 13 of October 2021 after he was being involved in a train-pedestrian accident.
The report said that a man in his 40s was trying to get around a stopped Union Pacific train when it suddenly started moving.
This happened around 11:45 a.m. on the railroad tracks located on South Front and Broadwell Avenue.
The man is yet to be identified.
The investigators are still working to determine whether the man had attempted to crawl underneath the train car or climb in between the cars.
Police believe this was an accident.
