“The PTO board would like to extend its deepest condolences and prayers to the families of Gracie Johnsrud and Coy Hepper.

There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they are gone the light remains. Gracie and Coy were both a light to our student body and will forever be in our hearts.”

“Thank you for the outpour of love, support and prayers for the Johnsrud Family. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 29th from 12:00pm-6:00pm at Fulkerson Funeral Home. Gracie’s funeral will be held on Friday, July 30th at 11:00am at the Rough Rider Center. Please continue to keep the family in your prayers today and in the days ahead.

Also, in lieu of flowers the family wishes you make a donation in Gracie’s name. A memorial fund has been set up at First International Bank & Trust for Gracie, Gracie Johnsrud Memorial.”

“Gracie Johnsrud might be the only freshman in all college history to have shown up to a move-in weekend community service project at a nursing home & fall in love with a resident so much she goes back on the weekends to go to church with her

Gracie is one in a million & if you know her, you know that. No part of me thought showing up to a random BHSU CAB meeting would bring me my people. Gracie is forever the reason I am where I am & I do what I do. My heart is so broke that I won’t get the bestest update texts and facetimes from her, but I hope that I can spread even half the love and happiness she’s given all of us.”
